Lions Clubs Camp Kirk
We, as District A16 Lions, should be extremely proud of our “Lions Clubs Camp Kirk”.
Lion President Micheline Rheaume, and I (Both from the Ajax Lions Club) had the honor of attending the “Lions Clubs Camp Kirk Annual General Meeting” at the Kirkfield Lions Hall. After the meetings we went over, with a number of other Lions in attendance, for a Lunch at the Camp. We got to chance to see our donations to the Camp at work.
We got to meet Henri Audet, who is the Executive Director, and Erica Coutts, who is the Camp director and her dog Henry who greets all the new children, and visitors who visit the camp. We were entertained and educated about the Camp, and we were also treated to a delicious lunch. The camp was in session, so we had an opportunity to see the Camp in full swing.
To check out more about “Lions Clubs Camp Kirk” check out their website ( http://www.campkirk.com ) or better yet follow them on facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/CampKirk )
They have a strong social media presence. They have daily updates where parents can see and hear clips of what their children are doing.
All in all, it was well worth the visit.
